COULDN'T USE YOUR CARD?

There is nothing to worry about! There are two options available to you:

Option A - Keep your balance

Go back to the merchant in the offer for which you have a balance! This is the easiest option and you will have spoiled yourself twice!

Option B - Get a credit

Keep your proof of purchases from participating merchants in the offer for which you have a balance and email them to us at support@hellocard.ca when you get home (photograph, scan or screenshot). Some conditions apply:

  • The name of the merchant, the purchase amount and the date of the transaction must be visible

  • The transaction must respect the restrictions of the offer (ex: participating merchant, expiration date, available balance, etc.)

  • The transaction must have been made within 30 days of the refund request.

 

Your balance will be deducted and you will receive a credit for the same amount. The form of this credit depends on the type of card you have:

 

  • If you have a Hello Classic card (with your name printed on the front of the card), the credit will be transferred to your My Cash account. You will be able to use these funds for your next grocery purchase or any everyday expense, since the funds in this account can be used at any merchant in Canada that accepts Visa cards.

  • If you have a Hello Instant card (without personalization), the credit will be transferred to a new balance. Where applicable, this will remove the bonus expiration date and reset the inactivity fee period.

Please note that once your proof of purchase has been sent, the process may take up to 5 business days and you will receive an email notification of your credit.
